Supportive care

Personalised care that responds to your needs

We help you manage cancer and its side effects through all stages of the disease, starting from the diagnosis and treatment to rehabilitation and life after cancer.

Supportive care begins from the first appointment. It is part of the undivided attention we give at Multidisciplinary Cancer Care (MCC) to every patient undergoing cancer therapy, regardless of the type and stage of the disease. Support continues throughout all phases of the treatment and after its completion

Cancer patients have better outcomes when supportive care is part of their therapeutic plan.¹

Steps

1

Holistic cancer care supportive plan

Our pathologist-oncologist (coordinating physician), responsible for coordinating supportive care, will discuss with you and your caregivers, understand your needs and develop a holistic support plan (creation of your digital patient record at MCC).

2

Supportive care is provided by the multidisciplinary team of MCC. Together, we will try to relieve pain, nausea, fatigue, and other cancer-related symptoms. Furthermore, we will help you cope with the anxiety, depression, and complex emotions arising from your diagnosis and treatment.

3

Cancer care data are analyzed by oncologist

The MCC supportive care team, with your consent, will provide feedback about your progress to the coordinating physician. Your digital record will be updated accordingly.

4

Personalised cancer supportive care plan is optimized by oncologist

The coordinating physician will analyse this data and discuss it with you and your caregivers to optimise your support plan. At MCC, we are driven by the health goals of the patients themselves.

We are by your side to give you access to a multidisciplinary supportive care team to help you and your caregivers manage the emotional and physical challenges of the disease.
